The main dining space unfolds through a sequence of fluid chambers, softly illuminated by oversized circular ceiling lights that evoke suns or planetary discs. Paris- and New York–based designers have punctuated the interior with rounded windows and sculpted niches that offer playful glimpses into the kitchen and display counters.
Mushroom-like stools and amorphous tables extend the shop’s biomorphic language, while the glossy surfaces catch and diffuse light in gentle gradients, heightening the sense of weightlessness and warmth.

Within this surreal landscape, the design subtly echoes the brand’s animated mythology. At its heart, a bubble-shaped display dome showcases miniature artifacts from Butterlandia, while built-in alcoves cradle collectible figurines of the Butter Baby character.
The story’s alien protagonist—on a quest to find emotion-rich butter to revive his fading home planet—now bakes on Earth, spreading warmth and glow through his creations. The Jakarta flagship captures that same spirit, blending storytelling and pop culture with Crosby Studios’ distinctly futuristic design language.
