Otávio Santiago Design
Graphic, Web & Motion Designer
Introdução pessoal
Hi! I’m Otávio Santiago, a Brazilian designer based between Berlin and Lisbon, with more than 25 years of experience in graphic, web, motion, and 3D design.
Throughout my career, I’ve built a practice that blends clarity, emotion, and concept — creating design that not only communicates but connects. My approach focuses on transforming ideas into visually compelling stories, balancing structure and intuition across print, digital, and moving image. Rooted in both art and communication, Otávio Santiago Design explores how aesthetics can shape meaning and how design can create a lasting emotional resonance in a world saturated by noise and distraction.
Experience and Background
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across a wide range of design fields — from print and editorial to web, motion, and 3D visualization — collaborating with clients from different industries and cultures I’ve designed visual materials for some of Berlin’s most iconic clubs, developed brand communication for biotech companies in the U.S. and Asia, created presentation assets for TED events, and contributed prototype concepts for L’Oréal Tokyo.
My portfolio also includes logos and visual identities for art galleries such as Mini Galeria (Brazil) and Somos Art Space (Berlin), visual communication for universities like Touro Berlin, and branding for restaurants, where I’ve worked on both interior and visual concepts.
Philosophy & Approach
I believe great design emerges from empathy and storytelling. Every project begins with understanding — of the message, the people, and the emotion behind it. Whether it’s a digital interface, a print campaign, or a motion piece, my goal is to craft memorable first impressions that evolve into lasting connections.
